Progress for Park View

WELCOME TO

PARK VIEW

Welcome to the campaign website for Brad Howard, Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for Park View.

This campaign is about one thing: delivering real progress for the people of Park View.

Park View deserves bold, responsive leadership—and residents who are ready to speak up, show up, and shape the future. Together, we can push for what matters most and hold our city accountable to the neighborhood we call home.

Let’s build a stronger, more connected Park View—together.

MEET BRAD HOWARD

Brad is serving his first term on Advisory Neighborhood Commission 1E.

He’s a Park View homeowner, a small business owner, and a proud American University graduate who has called D.C. home for nearly two decades.

Brad brings a neighbor’s perspective to public service—grounded in local roots, shaped by small business values, and driven by a deep love for this city.

Outside of his work, Brad’s a proud cat dad, a self-declared weather nerd, a history buff, and a weekend cyclist. He’s also a fun uncle, a Nationals fan, and a member of Foundry United Methodist Church.

Brad earned his Master of Arts in Public Communications from American University — putting himself through school the old-fashioned way—by working hard.

He covered tuition with a mix of student loans, paid internships, and long shifts bartending and waiting tables at EatWellDC restaurants right here in the city.

He later spent more than a decade in public service—serving in the Obama Administration, on Capitol Hill, and at City Hall in New Orleans—which ultimately qualified him for student loan forgiveness through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, a policy he proudly champions today.

Brad is a seasoned Democratic strategist who has led campaigns at the congressional, gubernatorial, and senatorial levels in states across the country. He regularly offers political analysis on national outlets including NewsNation, Fox News, CNN, and Bloomberg TV.

He’s also the founder and president of Corcoran Street Group (CSG)—a consulting firm focused on government relations, public affairs, and advocacy.

In November 2024, Brad was elected by his neighbors to a two-year term on DC’s Advisory Neighborhood Commission 1E, representing ANC 1E01. He works every day to keep residents informed and to deliver real progress for the people of Park View.
